This Disclaimer explains what PerpBrief is, what it is not, and the risks you accept by using it. It applies to everything the Service shows you — including the Bias Score, scenario levels, Market Data, and alerts. Please read it carefully before you rely on anything you see in the Service. It forms part of our Terms of Use, and capitalized terms used here have the meanings given in the Terms of Use.

1. What the Service Is

PerpBrief is an informational and educational analytics tool. It aggregates Market Data for perpetual futures on a small set of crypto assets and computes per-asset analytics, including the Bias Score and scenario "trigger" levels. The Service distills observed positioning into scenario levels; it does not predict prices and is not financial advice.

The Service is decision support, not decision making. It does not execute trades, route orders, or custody any trading assets. It does not connect to your wallet or exchange account, and it never asks for or stores exchange API keys or wallet private keys. Everything it produces is generated from Market Data, not from your personal circumstances.

2. No Financial, Investment, or Other Professional Advice

NOTHING IN THE SERVICE IS FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, TRADING, LEGAL, ACCOUNTING, OR TAX ADVICE. NOTHING IN THE SERVICE IS A RECOMMENDATION, OFFER, OR SOLICITATION TO BUY, SELL, HOLD, OR TRADE ANY ASSET, OR TO ENTER INTO OR EXIT ANY POSITION OR STRATEGY.

The Bias Score, scenario levels, charts, labels, alerts, and all other Content are general information. They are not tailored to your financial situation, objectives, experience, or risk tolerance, and they take none of those into account. A signal that reads "bullish" or "bearish" is a description of observed market data as processed by our methodology — it is not an instruction, a prediction, or a suggestion that you should act.

If you need advice about whether or how to trade, consult a licensed financial, legal, or tax professional in your jurisdiction.

3. No Advisory, Fiduciary, or Brokerage Relationship

Your use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, advisory, brokerage, agency, or client relationship between you and us. We do not act on your behalf, manage money or positions, or owe you any duty to monitor, warn, or advise.

We are not registered or licensed as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, or any equivalent role with any securities, commodities, or financial regulator in any jurisdiction, and nothing in the Service should be read as claiming otherwise.

4. The Bias Score and Other Signals

The Bias Score is an algorithmic composite signal. It is produced by a methodology whose inputs, weights, thresholds, and labels are provisional and may be tuned or changed by us at any time, without notice. The same is true of every other computed signal, scenario level, and analytic in the Service.

You should assume that:

• The Bias Score and other signals will sometimes be wrong — including at the moments that matter most.
• We make no warranty of accuracy, reliability, or profitability for any signal, level, or analytic.
• No performance track record is claimed for the Bias Score or any other feature of the Service.
• Past performance, including any backtested or hypothetical performance, never indicates future results.

A signal can be internally correct — a faithful computation over the data we received — and still be a poor guide to what the market does next.

5. Market Data — Third-Party, Unverified, As Is

The Market Data underlying the Service comes from independent third-party data providers and public sources. We do not originate this data and we do not independently verify it. It is provided to you as is, and it may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, inaccurate, or wrong.

Specific limitations you should understand:

• Labeled-wallet coverage is partial. Cohort analytics depend on third-party wallet labels that cover only a labeled subset of the market. Unlabeled activity is invisible to those analytics, and the labeled subset may not be representative.
• Historical gaps cannot be backfilled. Where source data was missing, delayed, or unavailable for a period, that gap is generally permanent.
• Free-tier data may be delayed by design. The features, data, limits, and delay applicable to each tier are as described in the Service at the time of use and may change.

6. Data Feed Availability

Our data sources may degrade, change, or terminate at any time, with or without warning, and this is outside our control. When that happens, the Service may display stale, partial, or missing data, and features that depend on an affected feed may change, degrade, or end with it. Do not assume that what you are looking at is current or complete.

7. Perpetual Futures Risk Warning

Trading perpetual futures is extremely risky and can result in the rapid and total loss of everything you commit — and, depending on the venue and instrument, potentially more.

Risks include, without limitation:

• Leverage. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. Small price moves can wipe out a leveraged position entirely.
• Liquidation. Leveraged positions can be forcibly closed at a loss, sometimes within seconds, and often at worse prices than expected.
• Funding costs. Perpetual futures carry periodic funding payments that can erode or reverse a position's profitability over time.
• Extreme volatility. Crypto markets can move violently at any hour, without warning and without a triggering event you can identify.
• Slippage and thin liquidity. Orders may fill far from the expected price, or not at all, especially in fast or thin markets.
• Venue and counterparty failure. The exchange or platform you trade on can fail, halt withdrawals, become insolvent, or be hacked. Your funds on a venue are exposed to that venue.
• Total loss. You can lose the entire amount you commit to trading.

Perpetual futures and other crypto derivatives are restricted or unlawful for retail participants in some jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to determine whether trading them is lawful where you live, and nothing in the Service is directed at anyone for whom it would be unlawful.

Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

8. Alerts Are Not a Risk-Management Tool

Alerts (delivered via Telegram, or by any channel we may add) are provided on a best-effort basis only. They may be delayed, deduplicated, throttled, delivered out of order, or missed entirely — because of our systems, third-party delivery services, network conditions, or the data feeds behind them.

Never rely on alerts to manage open positions, stop-losses, liquidation risk, or any other risk. If a position needs watching, you must watch it yourself using the tools of the venue where you trade.

9. Crypto Payments

Where Paid Plans are offered, subscription payments are made in cryptocurrency directly on public blockchains. Blockchain transactions are irreversible: once sent, a payment cannot be recalled, and mis-sent funds may be permanently lost. All payments, deposits, and Prepaid Credit are governed by our Terms of Use — including that they are NON-REFUNDABLE and non-withdrawable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions and for their outcomes. Before acting on anything you see in the Service, you should:

• Verify the information independently against primary sources.
• Never rely solely on the Service, the Bias Score, or any single tool or signal.
• Consult a licensed financial, legal, or tax professional where appropriate.
• Comply with the laws and regulations that apply to you in your jurisdiction.

By using the Service, you accept that any decision you make — including a decision to trade, not to trade, or to size or exit a position — is yours alone.

11. Relationship to the Terms of Use

This Disclaimer is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, our Terms of Use. The limitations and exclusions of our liability — including all liability caps — are as set out in the Terms of Use, not here; this Disclaimer does not add to, restate, or replace them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, limits, or overrides any statutory right or consumer protection that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
